竹林は水資源涵養機能・水土保全機能に悪影響を及ぼすのか?

Research Abstract

本研究では,様々な立竹密度のモウソウ竹林における水循環過程を測定し,竹林が水資源涵養や水土流出に与える影響を総合的に評価することを目的とする.平成22年度の研究実績は以下の通りである
1.蒸散量
立竹密度約9000本/haの竹林,タケが侵入しつつあるスギ林およびタケが未侵入のスギ林に樹液流速測定サイトを設置し,タケおよびスギの樹液流速の測定を開始した結果,三者の林分蒸散量に大差がないことを明らかにした(投稿準備中)
樹液流計測により竹林の林分蒸発散量を推定できることを検証した(論文掲載済み)
寡雨地域において針葉樹林が竹林に駆逐された場合,竹林の林分蒸発散量の方が他の樹種の林分蒸発散量より多いため,森林の水資源涵養機能が低下する可能性があることを明らかにした(論文掲載済み)
2.林内雨量
竹林における竹冠通過雨量の空間的変動性は竹林の葉面積指数にはほとんど依存せず,林外雨量の多寡に依存することを明らかにした(論文掲載済み)
3.土壌浸透量
竹林の根群密度・土壌水分特性・浸透能を調査した
4.表面流量立竹密度約4000本/haの竹林に表面測定プロットを設け,竹林の表面流の発生特性を明らかにした(論文掲載済み)
5.竹林内雨の化学特性
竹林における竹冠通過雨および竹桿流の化学特性を明らかにした(論文掲載済み)
