Research Abstract |
'Alevi' includes groups of diverse origins. We have clarified cultural, religious, social and historical characters of each Alevi group in Turkey : Turk Alevi(Anatoria Alevi),'Alevi Islam', Taftaci, Arab Alevi(Nusayri), Zaza and Kurd Alevi. In Europe, we have revealed that Alevi peoples formed groups in response to their particular political, cultural, social and religious environments, adopting elements of Turkish political and religious culture. These finding provide to elucidation of Alevi ethnicities.
