| Research Abstract |
【マレーシアでの調査】マレーシア・ペラック州の山地熱帯多雨林調査区PITCの伐採試験の短期植生応答を明らかにするために、伐採後1年目までの毎木調査の残りを実施した。タケ類主要2種(林冠形成種、亜林冠種)の撹乱後のラメート拡大と樹木更新阻害を調査した。タケの種特性を明らかにするために、アロメトリー解析を実施した。
【インドネシアでの調査】中カリマンタン州の熱帯泥炭林・ヒース林の森林火災後の二次林に調査区で再測を実施し、自然林とのデモグラフィー・生態系パラメータの比較解析を行なった。
【国際ワークショップの開催】2011年9月2～4日に本研究の海外共同研究者らを招聘して、International Workshop on "Life history regulation of forest trees : towards cross-biome analysis"を北海道大学で開催し、成果の発表と今後の整理発展についての討議を行った。特にサイト間での共同メタ解析のプロトコルを検討した。
【成果のとりまとめ】熱帯および暖温帯多雨林プロットデータに基づいて、階層を分割する樹種間での平衡共存の階層理論(Kohyama and Takada 2009)を拡張し、最大階層を同じくする樹種間でも垂直葉層分布を分割することで共存できることを示した(Journal of Ecologyに投稿中)。熱帯林の樹種間デモグラフ解析を行なって論文にまとめた(Ecologyに投稿中)。学会発表は日本生態学会-EAFES合同大会(大津)およびATBC Annual Meeting (Yunnan)で行った。
