Research Abstract |
A potentiometric artificial immunosensor was developed by using artificial antibody based on molecularly imprinted polymer using histamine as a model template. The sensor consists of a rod-type graphite electrode functioning as a transducer and molecularly imprinted polymer absorbed in the plasma-polymer thin layer functioning as a sensing element. The sensor was found to have superior selectivity and specificity to histamine.
