| Research Abstract |
Water splitting reactions catalyzed by metal complexes have been investigated. A novel dinuclear iron complex was found to serve as a hydrogen-evolving catalyst from water. On the other hand, we revealed that cerium ion play an important role in water oxidation reaction.
