| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
2023年度は、「移住と場の記憶」（Migration and Memory of Place）をテーマに国際シンポジウムを12月1日に開催している。また12月3日には、「先住民族と博物館」（Indigenous peoples and Museum）をテーマにワークショップとシンポジウムを開催した。
国際シンポジウム「移住と場の記憶」では、加藤が"Okhotsk Migration in Northeast Asia: Colonization and Cultural Integration"の報告を行ったほか、海外ゲストスピーカーとしてカール・オヤラ博士（ウプサラ大学）が"Sami mobilities in Colonial Spaces: Border, Identities, and the Rights to Make a home"の報告を、ニール・プライス教授が"Norse Migration in the Viking Age: Expansion to Diaspora"の報告を、クリステン・スミス博士とレヴィ・マーレイ氏が"Aboriginal placenames and geospatial data: Promoting truth0telling and understanding of the Country"の報告を行っている。
ワークショップ「先住民族と博物館」では、マイケル・ピッカリング博士（オーストラリア国立大学）が"Museums as interfaces of authority and knowledge"の報告を、ヴァネッサ・ルース博士（メルボルン大学）が"Mapping the collection store and making it a place for people"の報告を行っている。

海外調査については計画変更が生じているが、国際シンポジウムやワークショップなどを企画実施しており、概ね順調に進展している。

2024年度が研究計画の最終年度なので、最終的な研究成果のまとめを兼ねたシンポジウムを行う予定である。まや成果を取りまとめた報告書の出版を計画している。
