Outline of Annual Research Achievements

陸域の有機物の保全の傾向について明らかになり,特に土壌が有機質化するときの初期の団粒の形成過程について明らかになった.簡単な乾湿の繰り返しで団粒は形成されたが,有機物の存在が必要であることがわかった.また,下方浸透の促進が土壌の有機質化だけでなく植物生長にも有効であることが明らかになった.アジア、特に南アジアの研究結果をまとめると不耕起で土壌炭素,特に表層の炭素が増え,有意差はないものの,収量が減少することはなくむしろやや増えることがわかった.水稲栽培においては,夏季の高温により土壌微生物の活性が高まり土壌からのヒ素の溶出が促進され,イネによるヒ素吸収が促進されることが明らかになった.コメのヒ素濃度は登熟期間中の温度と正の相関関係が認められ,気温が高くなるほどコメ中のヒ素濃度も有意に高くなった.しかし,気温に関係なくコメへのヒ素蓄積量は一定であったことから,コメへのヒ素蓄積は高温による登熟期間との関係を明らかにする必要があることを認めた.家畜ふんおよび生ゴミ堆肥を施用した土壌からのGHG排出メカニズムを考察したところ,堆肥の違いだけでなく,土壌特性,含水量,アンモニア態窒素含量がGHG排出に大きく影響することが示された.それらが流出した際,流域レベルでの土壌や有機物の流出挙動を評価するため,河川における定期サンプリングと水質分析を進め,気象条件,土地利用,土壌種類,地形などとの時間的・空間的な関係性解析を進めた.

陸域の有機物の保全の傾向について明らかになり,特に土壌が有機質化するときの初期の団粒の形成過程について明らかになったため,また,下方浸透の促進が土壌の有機質化だけでなく植物生長にも有効であることが明らかになったため.

Strategy for Future Research Activity

メタンガスの発生機構について明らかになってきたところがあるため,カラム実験に注力し,テーマの1つであるメタンガスの発生とその抑制対策について研究を発展させていく.
