Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Friction transfer technique, which is known as a method for controlling molecular orientation of conjugated polymers, has been successfully developed as a thin film formation for small molecule organic semiconductors. Polyethylene oxide, which could be removed by organic solvents such as ethanol, was found to function as a binder for small molecules and to play an important role in the formation of small molecule films. We also found that Polyethylene oxide could be effectively utilized as a doping accelerator for ionic liquids.
