Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study was initiated with the aim of understanding the educational movement around 1971, when the Italian state, which is currently the focus of international attention, was systematically developing full-inclusive education. In order to reach this objective, the study first of all identified the origins of associations and the characteristics of social cooperatives, as well as the history of the Italian education system. In addition, from local researchers we were able to obtain an overview of the trends in the period of transition in Italian society around 1971 and the movements that called for educational reform. We also learnt that it is necessary to understand these issues together with the social security movement by persons with disabilities and the movement for the promotion of inclusive education led by parents' associations.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
