Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
During the first year of the current project (year 2021),a thorough literature review has been conducted and has established a conceptual framework to make a progress for the next step forward. The PI participated in 観光学術学会 and presented the current research project ideas and sought suggestions from the conference participants.

Strategy for Future Research Activity |
During the current research year, based on the established research framework, the principle investigator will conduct the first stage of data collection via interviews with hospitality workers in Osaka. Also, Prof. Tom Baum (research collaborator) and Dr Hiro Saito will visit PI in Osaka to participate in the next step of the current research project.

Causes of Carryover |
During the first project year, research trip plans such as conference visits were cancelled due to COVID-19 & travel restrictions. The recurring amount will be used for the current research year 2022 especially for the data collections and supporting the visits of research collaborators (Prof Tom BAUM and Dr Hiro SAITO).
