Research Abstract |
Immunomodulation study was applied to plasma membrane proteins. ER-targeted accumulation of an antibody against brassinosteroid receptor BRI1 resulted in transformants showing brassinosteroid-defective phenotype like dwarfism. Random introduction of antibodies, which were selected by the affinity to a plasma membrane protein fraction from a phage-display antibody library, gave some phenotypes to plants, which have yet to be related to the introduced antibodies.
