| Research Abstract |
In this study cDNA coloning, purification, and X-ray structureanalysis of a chromoprotein from Pleurotus Salmoneostramineushave been performed. The X-ray structure revealed that the chromoprotein does not contain the reported pigment molecule but does a novel linear chromophore which might lei along the active site of it.
