Research Abstract

We report that RBM15 binds to ORF57 and participates in ORF57-enhanced expression of KSHV ORF59. RBM15 binds to NXF1 via its SPOC domain and promotes mRNA association to the NXF1 export pathway. Thus RBM15 is considered to be a crucial factor for mRNA export as a component of the NXF1 pathway.
