Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We have established mice model to evaluate peritoneal micro metastatic nest, because we could not establish orthotopic transplantation model. We used colon-26-luc cell line and 7-week-old female Balb-c mice. We could visualize micro peritoneal cancer nest as a light of luciferase. We also measured the weight of peritoneal tissue to quantify tumor volume, that related luminescence intensity. We establish the method to evaluate disease progression without sacrifice of mice.
