Research Abstract |
The N-terminal domain of glutamate receptor GluRδ2 interacts with neurexins through secreted Cbln1. Cbln1 is a ligand for both GluRδ2 and neurexins. Trans-synaptic interaction of postsynaptic GluRδ2 and presynaptic neurexins through Cbln1 mediates parallel fiber-Purkinje cell synapse formation in the cerebellum.
