Research Abstract |
In the present study, we investigated ads-oardbsaotrebate interactions in surface diffusion of Amuonomers on metallic surfacebsy using atom trackisncganning tunneling microscopy (STM). We also developed a MonterloCasimulation program including the adsorbate-adsorbate interaction to elucidate the origin of anomalously smaller attempt frequencies reported previously. Wiemproved our atom tracking STM soft.warBey our simulation, we also found that the Au islansditydenincreasedwith increasing the additional diffusion barrier that Au atoms feel when they approach other Au atoms.
