Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Cleft lip and palate are often associated with nasal deformities. Therefore, it is important to understand the mechanism of formation of nasal region, which has not been fully elucidated. This study suggests the possibility that primary cilia is involved in nasal septum development as a part of midline formation through regulating Hh signaling.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
