Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The purpose of this study was to demonstrate the effectiveness of psychological support for cancer survivors to aim a fulfilled life in line with their meaning in life and values. The main results of this study include the identification of the mechanisms by which activity restriction in cancer survivors lowers their environmental reward and exacerbates depression through an observational study. This examination of this model was essential to support the action mechanism of the present program. We were also able to finalize the interventionist training manual for the trial, the program booklet to be used, and the patient support group to conduct recruitment. Due to difficulties in publishing the pilot study and recruiting research participants, we were unable to reach case enrollment, but will continue to conduct the randomized controlled trial.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
