Research Abstract

1．日本国内のアメダス導入以前の1970年代半ばまで行われていた日降水量データについて、沖縄県を除く日本全国について1930年以降のデータセットを完成させ、アメダスデータとも接続し、日本列島における1930年代から80年間の降水特性の長期変化傾向を解明した。豪雨発生には日本の全域で増加傾向がみられ、東北地方でのみ統計的に有意な増加傾向が広域的に認められた。高知県では多雨がやや増加傾向、無降水日は有意に増加傾向、がみられた。
2．フィリピンにおける1911-2010年の日降水量の降雨強度の変化を解析し、年最大日降水量が全球平均気温1℃の上昇に対して4.9%程度増加していることが判明した。1903-2012年における夏の雨季開始時期には、1990年代後半から雨季入りの時期が早まる傾向があり、1940年以前にも現在より早く雨季が始まっていたことを解明した。ベトナムにおいては、中部ベトナムにおける近年の降雨強度増加傾向の一部は熱帯低気圧の増加に起因し、20世紀全体では必ずしも降雨強度は増加していないことを明らかにした。
3．世界最多雨地域にあるインドのメガラヤ州チェラプンジにおける1902～2006年の日降水量の長期変化傾向を解析した結果、日降水量200mm以上の多雨および少雨共に増加傾向であることがわかった。
4．戦前・戦中期の満洲・関東州の気象年報、旧日本統治領の台湾・朝鮮・千島・樺太の日降水量・気温・気圧、中国沿岸の1873‐1880年の日降水量・気温・気圧・風データをデジタル化し、中国東北部における冬季の気温が100年間で3～5℃程度上昇したことを明らかにした
5．20世紀全体での台風経路データを復元した。アジアモンスーン年における再解析を開始し、次年度半ばでの完成予定となった。研究成果は連合大会、ベトナム・中国での国際学会、京都の国際地理学会等で発表した。
