Research Abstract |
To fabricate pseudo all solid rechargeable batteries, activation barriers between the active material and ionic liquids are elucidated. Since lithium-ion was surrounded by TFSA anion in the ionic liquids, it acts as an anion. As a result, activation energies between the ionic liquid and Li4Ti5O12 was higher than those in conventional organic liquid electrolytes. However, the activation energies between LiCoO2 or LiMn2O4 and ionic liquids were almost identical those in the convetional organic electrolytes.
