Research Abstract |
he molecular delivery to the central nervous system is required for the diagnosis and treatment of neurodegenerative diseases require. In this research, we developed a technique for protein delivery to neuronal cells using RVG peptide derived from rabies virus glycoprotein. We also discovered novel peptides as carriers to neuronal cells by synthesizing nAChR-binding peptides. These peptides allow the selective internalization of a protein and a small molecule probe into neuronal cells.
