Research Abstract |
Maximum seismic response evaluation method of buildingsconsidering soil-structure interaction is proposed. The method is examined by static anddynamic analysis of reinforced concrete buildings with pile foundation. Applicability of themethod is investigated regarding the low-rise and medium-rise reinforced concretebuildings which stand on various ground conditions. Validity of the method and influence ofthree factors (building height, ground stiffness and input earthquake motion) on themethod are shown.
