| Research Abstract |
It has been suggested that susceptibility tomajor depression and responsestoantidepressants are genetically inherited traits, but are subjectto a complex combination of factors. Comprehensiveinvestigations ofgenetic factors that influence these traits may lead tofavorableindividualized treatmentsfor patients. In this study, the association between genetic factors and susceptibility tomajor depression and/orresponsestoantidepressants was investigated using samples from patientswith depression and healthy volunteers.The resulting datamay be helpful infurther investigations.
