Research Abstract |
Treatment with IFN-β、IL-1β, or TNF-α dose-dependently induced IFITM3 gene expression in cultured astrocytes. Pretreatment with helenalin,an NFκB inhibitor, had no effect on PolyI:C-induced IFITM3 gene epression. In contrast, PolyI:C-induced IFITM3 gene expression was significantly inhibited by pretreatment with BX795, a TBK-1 inhibitor. These results suggest that PolyI:C induces IFITM3 gene expression through TBK-1-IRF3 pathway in cultured astrocytes.
