Research Abstract |
To evaluate phosphorylation state of proteins present in the inner ear organ, we used inner ear organ homogenate from wild mice. Immunoblot analysis indicated that several proteins including cochlin undergo tyrosine phosphorylation with pervanadate stimulation. We investigated the phosphorylation state about full length form of cochlin in pervanadate stimulation with immnunoprecipitation method, and the immnunoprecipitated cochlin protein was indeed tyrosine phosphorylated.
