| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
最終年度は今後の災害地理学の展望も含めた検討を、国内のみならずモンゴルおよび台湾も含めて行った。具体的な検討内容は、(1)津波被災分布の検証、(2)液状化分布の検証、(3)ハザードマップの検証、(4)リアリティのあるハザードマップの開発の４項目に分けられる。また、東京地学協会「地学雑誌」に提案した特集号「東日本大震災の地理学的検証－津波・地盤災害の多様性と地域性－」の投稿・編集作業をすすめ、平成27年4月刊行を実現した。
(1)では、津波遡上高分布図に基づいて津波遡上高の空間分布を詳しく検討した。その結果、海岸低地や谷，湾，浜堤の規模や形状，向きの違い，あるいは津波の来襲方向や干渉，波長などの点から津波遡上高を理解できる可能性が示された。今回の津波遡上高分布図が、将来の津波発生時に浸水域と遡上高を把握する方法論として，また3.11の津波像を理解し，今後の津波防災を考える基礎資料として役立つことが確認された。3.11の震源断層モデル推定にもこうした津波遡上高の詳細な空間分布が重要であることがわかった。さらに、仙台平野と石巻平野を対象として、3.11の津波被災度と地形・土地利用の関係を精査した。(2)では、地形分類情報を用いた液状化危険度評価基準を再考したほか、東日本大震災および既往地震による液状化と沖積層分布の関連性をあらたに見出した。(3)および(4)では、昨年度構想を描き執筆作業を分担で開始した書籍を、岩波書店から「防災・減災につなげるハザードマップの活かし方」として平成27年3月に刊行し、既往のハザードマップの検証ならびにその改良案の提案及び今後のあり方に関する提言を行った。成果の一部は「レジリエンスと地域創生」（明石書店，平成27年3月）および「草原と都市－変わりゆくモンゴル」（風媒社，平成27年3月）にも掲載された。これらの書籍は研究代表者が本科研の成果をベースに編集したものである。
