Outline of Final Research Achievements

This research considers how the image of the modern history of Japan in overseas changed from the end of the 20th century to the 21st century using the school textbooksl.We set the countries in Western Europe, Middle East and South Asia, East Asia, and the United States as the object of examination.
The purpose of this research was to explore the viewpoint for advancing future Japanese modern history research in cooperation with the overseas researcher widely.We acquired new knowledge through concrete research work, and made the booklet as the result of research.
