Research Abstract

当初の実施計画の項目をほぼ遠成すると共に、既に100m級線材の評価に成功するなど、次年度に予定していた項目も一部前倒して成果を得ており、順調に進展している。本年度得られた主な成果は次の通りである。
(1)GaAs/AlxGa1-xAsヘテロ接合を用いた多チャンネルホール素子の開発と磁気顕微システムへの適用:30um角の感受領域を有する素子を作製し、磁気顕微鏡用ヘッドとして用い高解像度の磁気像を取得した。
(2)臨界電流(Ic)劣化部位の高精度な位置特定とマイクロサンプリングTEM観察による劣化機構の解明:開発した磁気顕微鏡を用い希土類系コート多芯線材のIc分布評価を行い、局所Ic低下位置を特定すると共に、マイクロサンプリングによるTEM断面観察を行い、多芯加工時のIc低下の原因を明らかとした。
(3)希土類系コート線材の細線加工プロセスの最適化:本研究で提案する2次元的なIc評価結果をもとに、線材の電磁気的有効幅という新しい指標を提出し、細線加工時の線材端部の劣化を示す性能指標としての重要性を明らかとした。また、本評価手法を適用する事で、細線加工プロセスの最適化を実現した。
(4)Icの統計分布と通電特性に関する理論的考察と実験による検証:磁気顕微法によって得られる局所Ic分布をもとに、マクロスケールの電流-電圧(I-V)特性を導出し、四端子法による実測結果との比較によってその定量性を検証した。
(5}短尺Bi-2223多芯線材を用いた磁化電流検出の原理検証:短尺のBi系高温超伝導多芯線材を用い、フィラメント間のカップリングのため、Bi系多芯線材においても本手法が適用可能であることを検証した。
(6)長尺高温超伝導線材の評価:前項の成果を受けて、市販の100mのBi-2223長尺テープ線材の評価を行い、テープ面内におけるIcの2次元的空間分布の計測に初めて成功した。長尺線の高解像度計測によって、従来法では検出不可能な、長周期に離散的に点在する局所欠陥の検出にも成功し、実用長尺線の信頼性評価手法として、本手法は優れたポテンシャルを有する事を明らかとした。

Reason

Bi系高温超伝導線材による評価では、短尺線での原理検証を行うにとどまらず、100m級長尺線材の測定に成功するなど、次年度の予定を前倒して実施しており、順調に進捗している。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

多チャンネルホール磁気センサを用いたデータ収録システムの並列化によって、評価速度の高速化を図ると共に、数100m級長尺線材における信頼性の高いデータを取得し、理論的考察によって高温超伝導線材の均一性の〓念を確立する。並行して、検知された欠陥部位の組織観察により、原因となる因子を特定し、プロセス改善のための知見を得る。

Expenditure Plans for the Next FY Research Funding

当該経費は、試験に用いる希土類系長尺超伝導線材の購入費であるが、メーカーの製造容量の制限による納期遅延のため、次年度使用額として計上した。線材の発注は既に終えており、平成25年5月に納入予定である事から、速やかに当該予算の執行は出来る予定である。
