Outline of Final Research Achievements |
According to this study, the decline cause of Arimatsu tie-dyeing is not only decrease in demand for Arimatsu tie-dyeing, but also a result of the transfer of the country, such as China as a subcontractor of Arimatsu tie-dyeing production after the war, collapsed balance of traditional craftsmen society, production systems revealed that due to the weakened. For these reasons, historic townscape that has been formed by the traditional building are headed to the collapse trend in accordance with those that turnover from the stop industry will increase. On the other hand, is also a new initiative to try to revive Arimatsu tie-dyeing been identified in local, it is intended to count on in the future, these activities.
