Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The purpose of the present study was to develop an attention training program for university undergraduate students with high social anxiety. Students participated in an 8-week program to modify attentional bias and reduce social anxiety symptoms. As a result, improvement in cognitive symptoms of social anxiety was attained in the intervention group from baseline to post-intervention and follow-up. Larger sample size and long-term follow-up data is desirable in future studies.
