Research Abstract

The present study was undertaken to reveal mechanisms of hypothermic intervention in neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy. Using animal models, we have demonstrated detailed intracerebral metabolic changes, which would contribute to improvement in the hypothermic treatment strategy.
