| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
計算代数統計について、次のような成果が得られた。まず、分割表で周辺頻度を固定した場合の一般化超幾何分布に関して、基準化定数及び指数型分布族としての期待値パラメータに関する性質の評価とその数値的応用が得られ(Takayama, Kuriki and Takemura, "A-Hypergeometric Distributions and Newton Polytopes" Advances in Applied Mathematics, 99, 109-133, 2018. doi:10.1016/j.aam.2018.05.001) 一般化超幾何分布分布の最尤推定の性能が向上した。また、統計学以外への応用としては、無線通信分野における多入力多出力系(MIMO, Multiple Input Multiple Output)の復号方式の性能評価へのホロノミック勾配法の応用があげられる。無線通信分野の統計的性能評価では、複素多変量正規分布や複素ウィシャート分布が用いられるが、beamforming と呼ばれる通信方式の性能を調べるための統計量の分布関数に関するホロノミック系の性質について Vidunas and Takemura, "Differential relations for the largest root distribution of complex non-central Wishart matrices" (in The 50th Anniversary of Grobner Basis, edited by Takayuki Hibi, Advanced Studies in Pure Mathematics, 77, 411-436. 2018) でいくつかの結果を得た。
