Outline of Annual Research Achievements

開発された多波長ライダーシステムの九州大学、沖縄県辺戸岬、富山大学（当初の札幌設置を変更した）への設置が完了した。九州大学と辺戸岬のライダーはほぼ完成状態であるが、レーザー発信器の動作不良が多く、本格運用は平成27年度を予定している。また、富山大学設置のライダーは平成27年度5月頃に本格稼働の予定である。ライダーの設置と平行して、実測データの処理アルゴリズム開発と自動化を進め、エアロゾルの消散係数、後方散乱係数、偏光解消度のリトリーバルモデルをほぼ完成し、九大の観測をもとに検証を進めている。特に、九州大学に設置・稼働中のMAAP BC計、ACSA-12エアロゾル化学成分連続自動分析装置、偏光光学粒子計によるエアロゾルキャラクタリゼーションの結果をもとに、リトリーバル手法の検証・改良を進めている。また、導入された地上エアロゾル分析装置を用いて、黄砂飛来時に粗大モードの硝酸塩が越境輸送されていることを明らかにした。
モデル研究では、CMAQ とGEOS CHEM 9-2の環境整備を進め、昨年度にほぼ完成した多成分同時同化モデル本体と最適化モジュールを既存のエアロゾルの観測結果に適用している。利用可能なエアロゾルの観測データは２０１１年から２０１４年を中心とした観測で、風上の離島と都市域をセットにした国立環境研と地方環境研の共同観測の結果を利用し、エアロゾルの観測結果に整合する排出量のインバース推定を開始した。

Reason

当初の計画に従って多波長ライダーシステムを国内3地点に平成26年度内に設置が完了した。レーザー発信器の動作不良などで本格運用が遅れているが、九大などでは既に高濃度のエアロゾルエピソード時の観測に成功しており、化学輸送モデルを同期したインバース研究が進んでいる。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

3地点のライダー観測に基づいたエアロゾル成分のリトリーバルの精度検証を継続する。長期観測結果の揃った観測サイトからエアロゾル濃度の季節変動の特徴の解析をモデル解析とセットで進める。特に、九州大学のライダーサイトは、地上でのエアロゾル組成の分析結果がセットで得られている。また、MAX-DOASを用いた紫外域のエアロゾルの消散係数も得られつつあるので、これらのグランドツルースを用いたリトリーバル手法の完成を目指す。
モデル解析では、ライダーからの成分毎のリトリーバル結果を用いた同化実験を開始する。既存の排出量インベントリーの結果をライダー計測の結果でインバースして、最適化されたエアロゾル別の排出量の予備的評価を進める。モデル結果と観測結果の精度を確認しながら、同化システムを多成分同時同化システムに拡張しエアロゾル排出量インバースの精度を高める。モデルの検証はエアロゾル成分だけではなく、MAX-DOASで計測されるトレースガス成分についても行う。開発・検証されたモデル結果をもとに最終的に、エアロゾル再解析データを構築し、エアロゾルの気候影響評価の精度向上に貢献する。
