Outline of Final Research Achievements

This Study analysed the process of the development of 'habitus' of post-war Japanese leaders and the relationship between the habitus and their 'field', as well as the structure and relationship of each ‘field', through the statistical analysis of the data of their profiles and qualitative analysis of the life-histories. Our project illuminated the importance and the influence of the cultural and the social capital developed through the family, school, and the career experience. We also made further discussion on the prospect and the future of the leadership education.
