Outline of Final Research Achievements |
As well known, lymph-endothelial cells are originated from venous endothelia in zebrafish and medaka embryos. We investigated sequential phenotypic changes which are closely related with the molecular genetic changes to become the lymph endothelium from the venous endothelium. 1. We compiled the anatomical atlas of lymph vascular systems in zebrafish and medaka from embryos through adults.2. We investigated the sequential morphogenetic changes of lymph-endothelial cells with Arrey Tomography.3. Using VEGFR3 mutant zebrafish, we analyzed developmental mechanisms of cervical lymph-sac.
