Outline of Final Research Achievements |
ASD patients are known to have difficulties in interacting with other people, and to avoid eye-contact. In this research, we aim to develop a therapeutic method to assist ASD patients, especially ASD children. Firstly, an experiment to investigate what types of robots are liked by ASD children was conducted. Then it was confirmed whether eye-contact can be made between robots and ASD children. As experimental results, it was implied that android robot is easy for ASD children to make eye-contact with.
