Outline of Final Research Achievements |
To identity critical factors for induction of pancreatic beta cells, we developed novel technology of induced pluripotent stem (iPS) interfering method. The study of gene expression allowed the identification of several factors, which play roles in induction and maintenance of pancreatic beta cells. The present study would open an avenue to new efficient approach for human diabetes.
