ヨード担持インプラントの生体内減衰と生体親和性の評価

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

ヨード担持インプラントのヨード担持量と抗菌力の関係について、純チタンのインプラントとヨード担持インプラント（0%、20％、50％、80％、100％）を用いて黄色ブドウ球菌、大腸菌に対する抗菌力試験を行った。純チタン，ヨード担持0％のインプラントでcolony数の減少が認められなかったが、ヨード担持50％以上では純チタンと比べて有意に菌のコロニー形成を抑制した。
次に、ヨード担持インプラントの骨への生体親和性を評価した。
In vitroの実験として、ヒトの骨芽細胞様MC3T3-E1 細胞のviablilityをステンレス製インプラント、チタン製インプラント、酸化被膜のみ(0μg/cm2)、ヨード担持インプラント上で観察した。結果として、ステンレス製インプラントと比較し、チタン製、酸化被膜、ヨード担持インプラントで接着量の増大を認めた。チタン製、酸化被膜、ヨード担持インプラントでは明らかな差は認めなかった。In vitroでは、通常のチタン製インプラントと同程度の生体親和性があると示された。次に、ヨード担持インプラントをウサギの大腿骨に挿入し、一定期間後に抜去。そのヨード担持量、骨親和性、抗菌力を評価したところ、挿入後4週間後にヨード担持量は50～60%への減衰が認められ、120日経過したのちも、ヨード量は30%ほどの残存が認められていた。
以上より、チタン製インプラントより作成したヨード担持インプラントはチタン製と同程度の骨親和性を持ち、且つ3カ月以上の抗菌力が持続されることが示唆された。
