Outline of Final Research Achievements

In this research, we propose customer behavior model in store to estimate customer's moving state by integrating customer shopping path data and transaction data. The proposed method provide measures to evaluate sales areas from the relation between estimated moving state and actual purchase incident. These evaluation measures of sales area are useful for effective sales promotion.
Although the shopping momentum effect that an purchase of products gives momentum in shopping, subsequent purchase possibility is increased is well known, we observed that some customers show shopping momentums effect by using the proposed model.
