Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Recently, a simulation with about 100000 degree of freedom has become able to calculate by using a PC. Therefore, a high-performance numerical calculation method is desired. In this study, we focus on the boundary-type meshless method especially. From the viewpoint of speed, we improve the extended boundary node method (X-BNM), and aim to apply it to a large-scale simulation. Numerical results have showed that the X-BNM with the H-matrix method can be computed at a very high speed by comparing with the standard X-BNM. As a result, it found that the X-BNM can also be a powerful tool for large scale simulation.
