| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
本研究は、過剰に摂取される栄養による全身への影響、とくに、過栄養によって肝臓の機能が大きく障害され、脂肪肝および脂肪性肝炎（NASH）になることを、遺伝子・タンパク・脂質の系統的な解析から明らかにし、その全身への影響と病態を研究している。世界に先駆けて過栄養にある肝臓がSelenoprotein PとLect2というヘパトカインを産生することを報告してきた。Selenoprotein Pは肝臓および骨格筋のインスリン抵抗性を亢進させるだけでなく(Cell metabolism 2010)、骨格筋に働いて運動抵抗性を引き起こすことを明らかにしてきた(Nature Med 2017)。また、もうひとつのLect2は、摂取する食事に対して迅速に反応することを示し、Lect2が飽食センサーのひとつになりうることを示してきた（Diabetes 2014, BBRC 2016）。本年度はSelenoprotein P濃度の市販の測定法と私達が開発した測定法との違いを明らかにするとともに（Biol Pharm Bull, 2018）、Selenoprotein Pの血中濃度と糖負荷試験の関係を示した（Biol Pharm Bull, 2019）。また、Selenoprotein P濃度が将来の耐糖能障害を予測することを明らかにした（Sci Rep 2018）。脂肪肝について、アルコールの関与が低容量の場合、より発がんを低下させる可能性を明らかにした（ProS One 2018）。肝硬変、肝がんとにかかわる因子の研究を行った（J Gastroenterol in press, Biochem J 2019, Proc Natl Acad Sci U S A 2018, Hepatology 2019）。
