Outline of Annual Research Achievements

１．現地への経路は、空路にて日本からソウル、アルマトイを経由して、セメイ市に入った。２．試料収集は、煉瓦、歯について行った。収集には現地のカウ ンターパート(カザフ放射線医学環境研究所、セメイ国立医科大学等)を中心とし進めた。３．本年度はラットを使った内部被曝の動物実験を中心に行った。内部被曝実験は2回行った。原子炉(クルチャトフ)で2酸化マンガンの粉末を照射し、その後セメイ国立医科大学に持ち帰りラットへの活動度への影響を観察した。各臓器の病理学的な検査、血液の検査も行った。各臓器に取り込まれた放射能も直接 測定し、ベータ線を含めた正確な内部被曝線量を求めた。４．さらに内部被曝実験に加えて、外部被曝であるCo-60を照射し運動量と線量との効果関係を調べた。この実験も2回行った。運動量の研究についてはその解析を進めている。５．甲状腺などの検診結果をデータベースへ入力した。６．外部被ばくや内部被曝も同様に計算しデータベースへ入力する準備をしている。７．心理的影響の現地調査と解析を進めている。８．カザフスタン、アメリカ 、ロシア、ドイツ、フランスの研究者とも国際共同研究として継続して進めた。９．広島・長崎の原爆被爆者について直爆者、早期入市者 、黒い雨の地域にいた人、遠距離被爆者について広島大学のデータベースなどを使って解析し、内部被曝とベータ線被曝の影響の解析 を行っている。１０．マーシャル諸島での核実験の被曝線量評価とその影響などの調査も行っている。１１．福島原子力発電所関連に ついても土壌、煉瓦を測定している。１２．広島大学で国際シンポジウム(1月10-11日)および島根大学でのワークショッ プ(1月13日)を開催した。１３．内部被曝とベータ線の被曝（特に粉じんによる）をキーワードに、ガンマ線による外部被曝線量を含め、統一的理解、解明の ため検討を進めている。

Current Status of Research Progress

Reason

今回重点としたラットの内部被曝が予定通り実行できた。クルチャトフの原子炉でのMnの放射化のための中性子の照射とセメイ医科大学でのラットの運動量の経過観察、内部被曝線量と外部被曝線量の測定と計算、病理組織の変化等について順調に研究が進んだ。今年度は2回の内部被曝実験と2回の外部被曝実験を行った。そのほかの、広島･長崎、セミパラチンスク、マーシャル諸島、福島についても被曝とその影響研究は順調に進められている。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

これまでの資試料収集、測定、実験、解析を進める。世界各地の 被曝の調査とラットによる内部被曝の実験による内部被曝とベータ線被曝の解明についてはこれを重点的に推進する。１．土壌、煉瓦 、歯の収集を現地のカウンタパートに協力を求め進める。今回は大気中の塵を収集し大気中の放射能と汚染についても調査する。２．測定や検査は一部日本に持 ち帰り行う。３．内部被曝とベータ線被曝の解明のためのラットを使った動物実験については前年度の解析を中心に進める。その結果今後の実験が必要であるかどうか検討し次の段階に入る。それらには、運動量の解析、内部被曝と外部被曝の測定結果の解析、病理組織の観察と解析が含まれる。これまでカイナール症候群と言われた 倦怠感などの症状とも比較検討する。４．甲状腺などの解析を進めデータベースへ入力した結果も国際共同研究にて解析を進める。５．従来より進めてきた外部被ば くや内部被曝も同様に計算しデータベースへ入力し被曝線量を求める。まず、村平均の被曝線量を求め、次に個人の行動調査に基づき 個人被曝線量を求める。６．心理的影響の現地調査と解析を進める。７．アメリカ、フランスなどでの国際ワークショップ等で得られ た議論に基づき必要な事項を考察し必要に応じて追加する。８．その他、広島・長崎の原爆被爆者について直爆者、早期入市者、黒い 雨の地域にいた人、遠距離被爆者について広島大学のデータベースなどを使って解析し、内部被曝とベータ線被曝の影響の解析を行う 。９．同様な被曝があったマーシャル諸島での核実験の外部被曝と内部被曝やベータ線の被曝線量評価とその影響などの調査も行う。 １０．福島での土壌の測定、煉瓦の測定も進める。従来からのガンマ線に加え内部被曝とベータ線の被曝さらに粉塵による被曝をキーワードに、これらの統 一的理解、解明のため検討を進める。
