Outline of Annual Research Achievements

(1)PbSe量子ドット太陽電池の界面修飾と界面電荷分離・再結合ダイナミクス
まず、新しい方法を提案し安定なPbSe量子ドット溶液の作製に成功した。次に、異なる4種類のリガンド分子をPbSe量子ドットの表面パッシベーションに適用し、PbSe量子ドット薄膜を形成した。これらのリガンドの違いによる①PbSe量子ドット膜の空気中での安定性の変化、② PbSe量子ドット膜のエネルギー準位の変化、③PbSe量子ドット太陽電池の光電変換特性の変化について詳しく調べた。さらに、過渡吸収法により量子ドット界面での電荷移動速度定数のリガンド依存性とそのメカニズムを検討した。PbSe量子ドットにおける光励起キャリアの寿命と再結合過程のリガンド分子依存性を明らかにした。適切な量子ドット界面修飾方法を確立できれば、空気中で安定でありさらなる高効率化であるPbSe量子ドット太陽電池の構築ができることが判明した。
(2)PbS量子ドット太陽電池の界面修飾と界面電荷再結合の抑制
PbS量子ドットヘテロ接合型太陽電池に、PbS量子ドット層とAu電極との界面にBTPA-4という新しい有機小分子層をホール選択層として導入することをはじめて提案した。これにより、PbS量子ドット太陽電池の開放電圧の向上に成功した。開放電圧の時間応答と交流インピーダンスの測定結果より、BTPA-4ホール選択層の導入により、この界面での再結合を著しく抑制できたため、PbS量子ドット太陽電池における光励起キャリアの寿命が長くなり、開放電圧が向上できたことが明らかになった。さらに、この有機小分子BTPA-4を導入したPbS量子ドット太陽電池は空気中で100日以上保存しても安定であることを実証した。この結果より、提案したBTPA-4ホール選択層は従来の有機ホール選択層より安定であり、量子ドット太陽電池に応用できることが判明した
