| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
今年度も，間質性肺炎患者を対象に遠赤外線ホットパックによる温熱刺激を併用した運動トレーニングの介入効果の検討を継続した。研究デザインは運動トレーニングのみを行う対照群と温熱刺激負荷を併用する介入群の2群に割り付けるランダム化比較対照試験である。介入群では温熱刺激負荷と運動トレーニングを同時に行う当初のプロトコールから，両者を個別に行う方法に変更，継続している。現在までにトラブルや有害事象を認めていない。
運動トレーニングの方法は，呼吸リハビリテーションマニュアル－運動療法－第2 版（日本呼吸ケア・リハビリテーション学会，ほか編集，2012）の推奨方法に基づき，両群ともコンディショニング，持久力トレーニング，筋力トレーニングを同様に実施している。実施頻度は1日2回，週5日，実施期間は4週間であり，介入群における温熱刺激は1回あたり60分間，週5日で適用している。温熱刺激に関しては適用直後に，対象者の皮膚の発赤，発汗を認めるのみであり，熱傷ほか皮膚トラブルといった有害事象は皆無であった。また，バイタルサインの変化なども有意ではなかった。
しかしながら，前年度に研究協力者が所属する研究実施施設職員の退職に伴い，通常の診療ならびに運営業務が非常に多忙となったことに加え，測定機器（超音波診断装置）が故障し，修理に長期間を要した（製造本社のある米国まで送付する必要があった）。そのため，研究の実施を一時的に中断せざるを得なかった。今年度に症例登録を再開し，研究期間を延長，研究を継続している状況である。
