平成28年度は、福祉国家と家族政策の変容を労働市場の規制緩和とケアの不足に関連付けて、以下の学会報告、論文発表および海外調査をおこなった。
①国際学会報告：（単独報告）“Flexible Work, Child Poverty and Gender Equality: A Critical Assessment of‘Making Women Active and Promotion Plan in Japan'”, 25th Annual Conference of International Association for Feminist Economics,June 25th, 2016, National University of Ireland Galway, Galway, Ireland.

⑤海外調査：当該科研費のテーマである、1920年代の福祉国家勃興期における家族手当の研究を、今年度はドイツにおける母性主義との関係を研究するために、2016年8月26日（出国）から9月8日（帰国）までベルリンに滞在して、ベルリン自由大学、フンボルト大学、ベルリンの家族省に聞き取り調査をおこなった。
