Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Long non-coding RNAs(lncRNA)are thought to be involved in various biological processes, but their functions in vivo largely remain to be elucidated. Here, we showed that targeted deletion of Fat60 lncRNA causes abnormal development, which resembles a human disease. Our results indicate that a functional loss of lncRNA abolishes proper development, suggesting that lncRNA could be a cause for human genetic disease.
