新規G2 checkpoint阻害剤habiterpenolの全合成及び創薬研究

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

全世界におけるガンによる年間死者数は年々増加すると予測されており、副作用が少なく、低用量で効果を示すガン細胞選択的な新しいタイプの分子標的治療薬の開発が望まれている。そのような中、ガン細胞選択的に作用する抗ガン剤の標的として、DNA修復機構のG2 checkpointが注目を浴びており、北里大学においてその特異的阻害剤である新規天然物habiterpenolが発見された。申請者は、今後の創薬研究を進めるためにも新規誘導体の合成に対応可能な応用性の高い、habiterpenolの全合成経路の確立を目指し研究に着手している。現在、申請者が考えた合成計画に従い合成研究を進めており、鍵反応が期待どおり進行し、全合成の完了まであと一歩のところまで来ている。
今後も全合成の完了に向けて鋭意努力を続けて行く。

当初の予定内に全合成を完了することができていないため。ただし、全合成完了に向けた最終局面に来ていることは確かである。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

昨年度は薬学会の主催校となり運営準備に大幅に時間をとられてしまったことが大きな原因であり、今年度は時間が確保できるため、担当学生も増員し、本プロジェクト完了に向けて研究に邁進して行く。
