Outline of Final Research Achievements |
1,8-Carbazole-based conjugated polymers were synthesized by environmentally-friendly polymerization methods. When direct arylation polycondensation was applied, the desired polymers could not be obtained due to the steric reason. In contrast, poly(1,8-carbazole)s could be produced by the azide-alkyne click polymerization. The resulting poly(1,8-carbazole)s showed the specific fluorescence changes in response to the cyanate anion and tin cation.
