Outline of Annual Research Achievements

超新星理論・観測的研究を推進した。平成27年度までに得られた観測研究の結果を受け新たな連星進化理論モデルを構築するなど、融合的な研究も大きく進展した。
「恒星・連星進化」:数年のタイムスケールで大規模な爆発を起こす恒星現象を発見した。Ib型超新星で始めて、爆発前の親星の性質をハッブル宇宙望遠鏡により確定した。IIb型超新星に至る連星進化計算を行い、これが平成27年度までに得られた親星・星周物質の間の関係を自然に説明できることをしました(投稿中)。
「超新星・突発天体」:Chandra望遠鏡により、新種のX線突発現象を発見した。ガンマ線バーストに付随する超新星に関して、ヘリウムが外層に含まれる可能性を示唆する観測結果を提出し、またエネルギーの大きな極超新星がガンマ線バーストとして輝く機構の数値計算を行った。重力崩壊型超新星の偏光モデルにより、その三次元的構造を明らかにした。近年注目を集めている超高輝度超新星のモデルとして、中心天体からのエネルギー注入により超新星が輝くモデルの二次元長時間計算を世界で初めて行った。近年観測の進む潮汐破壊現象に関して、白色矮星がブラックホールにより破壊される現象の高解像度流体シミュレーションを行った。
「周辺環境」:超新星の周辺物質の輻射輸送計算により、Ia型超新星星周物質の質量や形状を初めて明らかにした。IIn型超新星の系統的なX線解析を行い、爆発の形状がディスク的であることを初めて示した。超新星の発生した場所の電波・可視の系統的解析を初めて行い、周辺環境の診断を行った。
「銀河化学進化・宇宙論への応用」:Ia型超新星スペクトルの系統的解析により、酸素の高速度成分が普遍的であることを発見した。Ia型超新星の親星・爆発機構解明の糸口になる新知見であり、今後宇宙論的応用への拡張を目指す。また、Ia型超新星への進化経路の系統的な研究を進めた。
