Research Abstract |
1. Establishment of fundamental conditions for quantitative determination of immunoblots (1984). (1) A linear relationship in the range of 5 ng to 10 <mu> g of proteins was established using peroxidase. (2) High speed data processing enabled rapid scanning (3 cm/sec) and 1 M byte memory storage sufficed quantitative analysis. 2. Development of a testing machine and the fundamental experiment for applications to intracellular analysis (1985). Concentration vs. absorbance was linear over the range of optical density of 0 to 2.2 and the best sensitivity was obtained. 3. The completion of a testing machine and practical studies on intracellular analysis (1986). Biochemical and immunohistochemical distribution studies in various tissues with regard to calpain and calpastatin were advanced, and quantitative variation of these proteins was estimated by immunoblotting.
